Hello All!
My god what a boat we’re all on! just got my 2nd blood test results in, all seems to be normal so I was told by my dermo that I do not need anymore blood test till the end
is this the case with everyone?
My side effects seem to be increasing with time, but the bright side of all of this is that I can see a considerable improvement in the bottom layer of my skin, my blackheads have all almost disappeared which makes the canvas look better
I’m still developing one or 2 big spots with white heads that seem to dry out quickly once every 2-3 days
no redness for me, as I can see it is a common side effect for quite alot of you.
The side effects I am suffering from most are:
Depression - my mood seems to feel like constant PMS which I think you can all agree is less than pleasant to say the least! I have also been really edgy and down alot of the time.. most of the time actually. I am trying to stay positive about it all and try to picture what my face will look like in a few months to put a smile on, cause I sure do miss smiling too
Dry Lips - not able to use blistex anymore as it burns most of the time cause I have very fleshy skin after the dry skin falls of (or i cheekily peel it off) so I am using a brand called QV lip balm which is SUPERB!! :):)
Dry Hands - sticking to cream E 45 - I guess we can only keep applying moisturisers
Muscle & Joints ouch!
Lower back pain - seems to be increasing with time
The headaches have decreased alot which is grreat
Break outs!
I have a few questions -
- When does the skin start to look good?? I weigh 50KG and I am on 40 mg for 6 months! I have just entered month 3.. canNOT wait to be done. When do I start having GOOD skin?? which month??
- Is it normal that my dermo thinks I do not need to have any more blood tests? I have only had two, and not that all is normal my doctor says I am done, although I had heard from friends that they had blood tests every 3 weeks
- have any of you been drinking alcohol? I have been in the last 2 weeks, and I am now wondering whether this is related to the increased joint and muscle pain??
wishing you all the bestttt because I now know how difficult this is!
