I did actually include a week 1 diary entry - but not sure where it went in the end! I am on my 15 day of accutane (35mg to begin with) and have to say it’s pretty much what i expected from what i have heard and from reading this site.
The usual dry lips, itchy scalp and bloody nostrils - i have been getting a weird rash on my left hand - but from reading other’s posts on here - i think it seems pretty normal so not worrying too much.
Spots - a few new ones - nasty boils right under the skin feeling like a have a volcano ready to erupt on my face - lovely. However it is the time of the month - so this may have something to do with it. Other than that i am awaiting the huge breakout and have notified work so that i can take time off - having to stand up in front of people and talk is not what i want to be doing.
Getting a few aches and pains and seem to be very tired - but i guess that is pretty usual too.
Not looking forward to bloods - as i seem to faint everytime - plus i found out i have high cholesterol for someone who is 25 - so they are keeping a close eye on me….I don’t really understand it as i’m not even overweight or unhealthy.
Anyway - overall i think i’ve had a good couple of weeks and feel optimistic that it’s going to change my skin.
