Goodness me, the weeks are marching on! I don’t know about the rest of you but this cold weather is not agreeing with my roaccutane-thinned countenance. I’m looking even redder than usual and the chapped-lip-scenario is pretty dreadful. Still quite a few spots just to add to the horror of it all. I’ve found that the best thing is to keep facial expressions to a minimum so as not to upset my skin any further.

I know what you mean nancy, sometimes just smiling seems to threaten to crack your face! But you must be on the end-run now :-)

Hi Eider, how are you? Just a week left for me now and I’m gonna be rejoicing when it’s all over! Where abouts are you in your course? x

I must be about week 13, only half way unfortunately. I am obviously much fattter than most people, lol. I am frustrated as are most people by the rate of improvement. I know it is working deep down but the spots keep coming and I do look worse than I have for ages. It is worth it though, I will be turning that corner any day , gulp.

Keep faith Eider, it does take a while but if you’ve been living with bad acne for years like a lot of people on here, what’s a few more weeks to get your perfect skin eh!?
I’ve been on Roaccutane for a good 4 months and this month has been the first in my entire teenage years that I have been spot-free, AND not developed any new spots, and it feels amazing.

Trust me that feeling is worth the wait!

Hello everyone! Wishing you all the best with your treatment. It’s a long and painful process but definitely worth it.
