Well….it has taken 15 1/2 weeks but Roac is FINALLY working for me and I couldn’t be happier. I only have one spot - the rest are just red marks whcih are taking what seems like an age to disappear but I don’t care as long as I don’t get any more spots in the meantime. I can’t believe it has actually tekn this long to work….I guess it just shows you have to be patient with this drug and NOT GIVE UP! There were so many times when I thought to myself that I wanted to give up because I’d been on it for so many weeks and it seemed to be working for everyone else - I just needed to realise that the tane works in different ways for everyone, but thank god it’s finally working for me! I wanted to give up so badly and I’m so glad I didn’t. As soon as I reached what must have been the cummulative dose for your body it began to work. There were times when the drug was making me depressed and my skin a million times worse than it was when I began, but thankfully I didn’t. I’m going for my 4 month check up on Wednesday and I don’t even care if she prescribes me another month of the stuff because I’d be happy to take it. The side effects don’t even bother me anymore, in fact they’re quite pleasant - it’s nice to not have greasy skin any more - but will it stay this way?? Time will only tell I guess once I stop taking the drug.
I hope everything is going well for everyone else - espesh those who are feeling down at the moment, my advice is don’t give up!!
