Hello everyone!

So here we are, it’s the end of week one and nothing much has happened at all really. My skin doesn’t feel much drier, neither do my lips and I’m still anxiously anticipating this BIG BREAK OUT business. At the moment I have got a few more spots than usual so hopefully this is it and not the mother of all breakouts I was expecting. Touch wood, actually, because I’m really tempting fate here!

Without sounding like a complete freak, this whole lack of oil thing is starting to sound increasingly appealing! Ok, so there’s the dry skin - I’ve been blessed enough to be born with Keratosis Pilaris aswell (hey, thanks, gene pool!) so I’ve been in a moisturising routine for quite some time. And Palmers Coco Butter is a trusted old favourite. Other than that, I’m actually looking forward to not having to powder my face to death every half an hour to avoid my make up sliding off. AND ACTUALLY BEING ABLE TO USE MOISTURISER…ON MY FACE! What a novel experience that will be. But I do understand how serious and sore it all can be, I’m not trying to be flippant here. Although, if I’m going to be on this drug, I’m going to try and be positive as much as possible. “Always look on the briiiight side of life…” ahem.

I know I haven’t said anything even remotely meaningful in this post but comments are welcome!

Hope you’re all doing okay dokey.

Its always good to get the major breakout out of the way! :) so when you get it, dont worry to much, thats if you even get it , some people are lucky enough not to get it. :)

Hey Judy,

I think I’ve definitely got my big break out now - can’t wait for this part to be over! I’ve not had any headaches…I hope they clear up for you. And good luck with your new dosage! :D
