I’ve taken my last pill,
8680 mg in total, 144 mg as cumulative dose to my 60kg.
Please make sure the spots don’t return.
Please give me my lips back.
Please take away the pain in my hips.
And I promise to eat my greens.
Thank you.

And I am thoroughly fed up with this drug now! I ache, I’m feeling blue, I’ve got eczema all over, my nose is crusty, it still bleeds when I go to the toilet and my lips are still falling off my face.
But, skin is spotfree and I only have a few red marks from recent [...]

I’m still hanging in there, counting the days ’til the end. I think I’ll try my best and go until my cumulative dose is up to 150mg which would be the 14th November. Only another 5 weeks, woooo!
Skin is pretty good now. I’ve got a minor new spot coming, but it’s not visible yet and [...]

Right then, here’s a series of pictures from before Roaccutane to this morning. I’m very pleased with the result. I still have spots, but they are small and most of the marks you can see on the picture from this morning are just scars that I expect to fade with time.
I’m not sure how many [...]

Hello all and sorry for not having written for some time. I echo what another writer said though, there’s not been much to report really, so I’m not holding anything interesting from you!
Face is a lot better than it used to be. I still have the odd spot and scarring, so I guess I’m feeling [...]

Hello!
Am really happy at the moment, I’ve just got home from the gym and I wore almost no makeup today. I had some concealer at work, but after the gym I didn’t bother reapplying and felt really good. Each time I went to the ladies at work I thought my skin was glowing compared to what I [...]

Realised the other day that I haven’t mentioned much about my back. It was horrendously full of acne, so bad that my derm back in 2006 gasped when he saw it. (And trust me, derms see a lot, don’t they!)
He even asked if he could bring in a group of students as my back was [...]

Hello all,
I just thought I should do a post about comments. Comments don’t always get posted straight away, they need to be approved first. If you click “comments” in the left hand column and then filter on “pending” you’ll see all your unapproved comments there.
Wordpress also sends and email asking you if you want to [...]

My chin was sooo flakey today I had to nip in to the ladies and rub it all off and put new make up on! It looked like I had a dusting of flour on it, terrible. Like I said in the comment to Kiri, my “Native American Name” would be Dusty Chin!! No bloody [...]

Am chuffed to bits as the derm gave me 60mg for two months! I didn’t need to do a pregnancy test, nor draw blood, and she let me sign an opt-out form so I won’t go back on the pill either! Can’t be better!
She said my blood from last month was really good [...]
