Hi All,

I’ve been taking roaccutane since Monday, and I already feel really tired, am getting headaches and my arm’s aching loads! Could I be suffering the side effects already or is this too soon?

I haven’t really felt that much of an effect from the drug yet, my lips aren’t dry, and my skin hasn’t really changed, maybe just a little tender.

Just wanted to know if I am likely to feel like this for the remainder of the course, or if I’m ill with something else and its just a conincidence??

Also, am I ok to take ibuprofen with Roaccutane?

Hey

I suffered headaches everyday since the first day I started Roaccutane, these were a real pain and nothing could get rid of them.. but these stopped after a week and i’ve only had the odd few since (i’m now in week 3). Also I started on a Monday and didn’t experience dry lips until the Sunday. I haven’t been effected in terms of tiredness, but do feel quite achy at times so i would assume that you are experiencing side effects already even though you’ve only been on Roacc for a few days.

You should be fine taking Ibuprofen whilst on Roacc, I took them and Nurofen for my headaches and i’ve been fine (not that they worked anyway! lol).

Thanks Sam,

Typically am feeling quite a bit better today. Just got to remember it will be worth it in the end.
