Hello again
My son is into week 3 of taking Roaccutane and its been quite a rollacoaster ride!
Since being on Roaccutane fortunately my son’s skin hasn’t been too dry - just his earlobes have been peeling. However, his lips have taken the brunt of it! Really dry, cracking and bleeding and to top it all - so swollen. Vaseline was not doing the trick, and when I mentioned that you guys use nipple cream - I thought an earthquake errupted! So it was NO to the nipple cream but thankfully was recommend Cymex. This has been brilliant with instant results. His lips have healed but are still swollen.
O.k. - the acne - well after submitting my last diary entry within a day his face looked AMAZING but literally a day later more spots appeared and this continued all week. Today his face is looking slightly better again.
We are off to see the specialist at the end of the week. I know it would only be three and a half weeks but he will be away for the rest of the month!
