Am still waiting for my derm appointment, am feeling very excited about starting the course……

My hairdresser asked me today if I wanted to book a hair colour (to keep up the pretence that I am blonde!!) and I was not sure if that was ok, or will my scalp being dry and irritated as well as the rest of me?

On the subject of irritation, my husband is being really mean and will not let me have a dog, am sure it will help me cope with the side effects once I start taking the roac???

I think I may have turned into ‘the enormous crocodile’ already (very funny Roald Dahl book), as I have secret plans and clever tricks to make the most of my treatment, am probably going to end up looking like a scaley old one anyway, as skin is already dry due to change in weather over the last few days (colder and wetter - if possible)

Anyway if anyone has any info on hair colouring, would be grateful….so let me see:

Moody, scaley, hairy,  roots showing, tired, aches and pains…..yup cannot wait!!!

Hey Jane

The thought of not dying my hair never crossed my mind and I have been dying my as normal, with no odd side effects. The only think I can imagine is your hair being a bit dryer, but you can sort that out with intensive conditioners! I say go for it, with what we are going through with our skin not looking its best you need something to make you feel good! xx

Hi Jane,
I’m in my seventh week of roacc and I colour my hair and I’ve had no reactions at all. Keep up the blonde is my advice!!!!
