Quick question, will getting my lip peirced have any affect on roaccutane? I have my belly done, but I really fancy my lip, just checkiing it won’t have any side effects?

I just got inside me ear done yest.. didnt even think about the roacc effectin it!
im fine today and piercing aint even that sore so id say it shud be fine!!

i should imagine it will just probably hurt a bit more than it would if you wasn’t. one thing i will say, i have a fair few piercings (about 13 lol) i love them but the one i really wanted done was my lip so i did (before roac) after a few months i took it out, it was a nightmare, really got in the way and just bugged me, i am now left with a scar that i cannot get rid of, and i took it out 9 years ago. so think long and hard about it. i’m a peircing junky and that is one i would not recommend. i’m not saying don’t do it as it is your choice, i’m just saying think about it loads first as i wish i had.

HEy!did u get your piercin done?? how did it go??
mine got infected and was really swollen( my body usually fine with these things) left it alone and was really careful with it and cleaned it twice a day.. week later stil bad so i had to take it out cause goin thailand tomorrow for 5wks and did not want it to get worse out there.. but anyway its been healing really slowly and think roacc might have somethin to do with it!!..

I was told by the dermatologist not to get any piercings whilst on roacc as it does not heal properly. I was kinda annoyed as I have been wanting a few but I’m sure I can wait 4 months.. =]
