its my 4th week and ive seen no progress yet …
i think i thought i was going to see a miracle .. guess not ! :(
im soo worried, this has literally taken over my life now, i am going on holiday in 2 months and im so scared that these red marks wont go by then.
ive got lots of red circular marks all over my cheeks, i was wondering if anyone could give me hope and tell me that they have also been in my position but it will clear??
im finding myself very tired latley and very down and sad, i hope this is just a phase but at the moment im not seeing a light at the end of the tunnel….fingers crossed! Xx

hi

its hard to know what to say, just stay possitive, i had the red marks that have started fading now, i put savlon on the marks as i found them painfull but just started week 5 and they are fading so don’t loose hope. i soon learnt that miricles will not happen over night but after the roller coaster ride it will be worth it i know a few people that have been on it now and their skin is amazing and the pics i have seen on here have been promising. try not to let it get you down and focus on what made you go on roac in the first place. then imaging the end result. rome wasn’t built in a day

keep your chin up it will get better i promise

hi jessica,

i started out with lots of the red marks I am coming up to week 5 now and they are fading, they are still there but a definate impovement has been made. Its not a quick fix unfortunatley so if you are a little more aptient and stick with it im sure you will see an improvement soon.

Keep your chin up xx

I am about the same stage as you and have seen no improvement either (if anything they are still a bit worse than before I started) but I am telling myself these things take time. Hopefully in the next few weeks things will start improving. I think it just takes time.

It is really hard though. I was hoping for a bit of improvement, but I am really just the same but with sore lips!!!

Hi,

i too am on week 5 and improvment is minimal. However, there is not one diary i have read on here that says someone has completed the course and it has made no difference, quite the contrary,so i doubt you or i will be the first that it wont work on. We have to wait, as it will work.

Cheers,

Dan.

Hi guys

Just reading your comments. I took accutane about 3 years ago. Amazing, its going to take time. Even after the course finishes it will improve for a couple of mnths further.
Well im back on it after 3 years, really mild acne this time!! dERM didnt want to give it!!! I convinced him that i needed it!lol
Been on it for about 3 weeks now and its stoped the break outs! Most amazing drug ever. The pros out way the cons. t
The marks will take time, about 6-12 mnths depending how serious. Alays use sunblock, even if theres no sun. will help themarks fade alot
The pitted scars, they will never go. well unless you have laser surgery or dermbrasion.
Don’t pick the spots whilst on accutane. high risk of skin damage!!!
kool!!!
Keep in there jess!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
