Looks like I got my wish; my skin has have flared up horribly. I now have patches of raised, red skin, bumpy skin on my neck. This looks bad. I spoke to my dermatologist and she said that the flare-up is completely normal. I just hope that this means it will start clearing now.

My eyes and throat both feel dry and a little scratchy, but I was forewarned. Other than that, things seem to be going ok.

Hi Maggi,

Not sure if it’s the same thing but I developed a bumpy rash on the backs of both hands a couple of weeks ago which is dry most of the time but goes red and itchy every few days. It’s ok as long as I keep it moisturised with E45 and if it’s itching, a small amount of 1% hydrocortisone cream calms it down. I hope it calms down soon. Wishing you all the best, keep us posted. The beginning is tricky for a lot of people. Take care

Hi!
I can sympathise with u! im on day 5 and my skin has also got awful. my cheeks are covered in big red bumpy spots! its horrible!

i was surprised how quickly the drug has taken effect, the outbreak started after just 2 days and has been getting worse ever since!

im hoping that if the flare up can happen so quickly then it might clear up quickly too! unless thats just wishful thinking lol.

I hope things improve for u (and me! hehe)
xxx
