So my nose bleeds are like everyday now, and really are annoying me. My skin is looking clearer and clearer as time goes on. My face is real sensitive, and my lips are getting worse everyday, they are sore cracked and constantly bleeding. I wake up daily with dry skin and takes about three facial moisturiser applications to settle it. And then it still comes out dry.I woke up with a new spot on the side of my lips and tried to squeeze it and i just ripped all the skin around it and now i have a massive red mark on my face where it looks like i have taken the skin off of my face, really not happy.

So DONT do that!!! Dont pick your face. Because the skin is so sensitive it will take off your skin, and still leave the spot there.

I also constantly need the toilet, and i have irregular sleep problems, i dont know if that is the tablets, but i have heard of these being side effects.

I hope everyone is ok, i have a doctors appointment on the 5th for a check up, i will update after that.

I’m in my 5th week on roaccutane….and no improvement yet. My skin is not really dry, just the way it should be-no oil, but my lips are peeling really bad. Vaseline just doesnt work anymore. I’ve been so upset for weeks having no improvement. I feel as though this is not going to work for me. I’m very depressed all the time, I hate going out and am afraid of what people think of my appearance.

As for other side effects…Itchy skin on my cheeks and I’m just tired all the time and a small bit of joint pain, but nothing else…yet.

I have broken out badly every week since starting. My skin is ten times worse now, than when I started treatment. I’m so upset that it just isnt working for me. I dont think I will ever feel confident and happy.

Does anyone know if stress honestly contributes to it getting bad?

I’m not sure for certain but I’m pretty sure that stress is probably the single worse thing for triggering for acne flare ups - probably more so in women than men.

I did read somewhere that acne flare ups was stress -related. As sometimes nearer to my exams i would break out. But i am not sure.

I haven’t had a nose bleed as of yet, my nose doesn’t feel like normal.

But my lips bleed a lot especially when i’ve woken up in the morning and their all dry i open my mouth and the sores on the side of my mouth split this morning.

I hope everything goes smoothly with you
keep with it :) x
