I’m not too upset anymore, and thanks for all the comments on my last post. However, I have yet to improve, well my chin has cleared up, but a have a cluster or 5 spots on one cheek, and another 5 near my left ear – and the usual along the jaw-line. But my forehead has erupted a little bit, I’ve been on the 60mg for what ummm 2 and a bit weeks now, so I REALLY hope that now i should adjust to this dosage – and START IMPROVING!!! I have been lucky that the only side-effect i experience is dry skin on my face. I was just wondering wat face moisturiser people use? I’ve been swithcing through a few – but they all leave my face red and feeling sticky. I have also stopped using Pan-oxyl, but as i hav gotten worse, I was very tempted to go back on it, but as i havnt popped in so long – im hoping that if i continue not too use it, i wont become dependent on it to clear up my spots. Anyway, I’m starting uni soon, so I hope to have returned to at least my pre-Isontretinoin face – not too far off, but hopefully better. Just gotta stay positive!!!!!!!!
So yea… any moisturiser recommendations??????????????

hey there, ive started using bio-oil on my face at nighttime and its great. my skin is quite dry and it really moisturises it as well as takes away the redness of old spot scars. AND i still dont wake up with a big layer of grease on my face. for washing my face i use simple moisturising wash which i have always used as im allergic to almost everything!!!

Have you looked at the ‘amie’ range in Boots? It’s for young skins. No parabens SLS etc. I’ve been using their face wash. Very gentle when your skin feels dry and sensitive. It’s fairly inexpensive, around £5. There are scrubs, moisturisers and toners as well. Most people on this site recommend the simple range. It’s not unknown to apply moisturisers a few times a day to keep the skin comfortable. Jxx
