Eucerin dry skin products

I was recently asked by Sophie from Eucerin to try some skin care products for dry skin. As one of Roaccutane’s major side effects is dry skin we thought it would be good idea to post the results on Reclaim Your Skin and ask you guys what you think of Eucerin products.

I decided to try the face cream and body cream because these are the products I would choose if I was taking Roaccutane again.

The body cream worked and felt great, not too greasy like with some products you try. My only concern would be the scent, slightly too strong for me but I’m not keen on any products with a strong scent so maybe it’s just me.

The face cream made my skin visible smoother after a short period of time and you don’t need to use a large amount to see results.

I’ve only tried free samples so I’m not sure how expensive Eucerin products are. Has anyone had any success using Eucerin products, or found any good products for dry skin?

Update 28 October 2007:

Abi: I have been trying the Eucerin “Dry skin relief face cream” and have been very pleased with it. It seems to add more moisture to my face than my current moisturiser and it’s also fragrance and colour free which is a real plus for me as I have sensitive skin. It’s also great for use under my make-up.

Hi Will,

I am desperately trying to track down Aquaphor healing ointment, which is the holy grail of lip balms for Roaccutane users, but so far I’ve not managed to find it in the UK. It’s made by Eucerin, so maybe you could ask your contact if there is a UK stockist or maybe an equivalent product available here?
