Ok, I know acne doesn’t magically clear up overnight but I was really hoping for some more obvious improvement as my first month draws to a close. All that has happenned is that the spots that were there have dried up- thats good right? BUT the spots havn’t stopped coming, not even a bit, I wake up with 2/3 new ones every day, waiting to get pussy and painful and then eventually dry up.

Having a blood test next week and am nervous- not kos of needles etc but, because I am worried that  they may find a reason for me to come off it, I tend to be that tiny statistic that reacts badly to drugs.

The last few weeks have been hard,  I have been working every day, in a shop, in the public eye, HATE it when people are looking at your skin. Sorry this has turned into a rant!!

Side effects are still your basic dry skin/lips however, my joints are KILLING me, especially my shoulder- not sure if this is roacc or something else?! finding it tough to move about.

I am still avoiding going out socially, much to my friends annoyance, they don’t really get the whole bad skin=bad mood=not wanting to go out, I mean no-one wants to go out if they feel they look awful right? especially as alcohol is off the cards!!!

anyway enough of my rambling!

Any comments appreciated

Rach

Hi Rach

Have not started yet, (am still waiting to see derm) but do understand what you mean about people not understanding, I have had mixed responses from people when I tell them I am going to start taking it, some say ‘your skin is fine!’ and others respond with a ‘hmmmm’ which means oh yes you need it!!

Also hate people staring, had a huge red ‘button’ on my face and was sat with a consultant all day, with him trying hard not to look at it, but could not take his eyes off it….so tempted to say ‘talk to me not the spot’!!!!

I am sure you will see an improvement soon xx

Hi Rach, Try GMX for your joints. it contains Glucosamine and other good stuff. I take it as a supplement for the gym, and a week or 2 ago i ran out, now stocked up again my joint stiffness has eased. Been on Roacc for 5 months and still managed to go gym 5 times a week and 100-160km bike rides at weekends (though knees do get a little stiff and this week my ankle was bad for 24 hrs after). I’d seriously recommend the GMX, i take Flaxseed oil as a supp too as this also aids joints.

All the best,

Dan.
