Well….since I last wrote ive stopped getting such bad headaches but have had bouts of feeing quite nauseous. I’ve developed a small cyst on my head and have had a few breakouts this week which is particularly annoying as I have a date tomorrow night!On the plus side, the dry, red patches of skin on my hands and shoulders have calmed right down. I had a 6 week check-up with my derm yesterday. He is keeping me on 40mg and thinks im doing well.
I think he would have put me up to 60mg but I unwittingly made an issue of the side effects which seemed to deter him - he was also worried the headaches would come back worse. I didn’t have any blood tests though - I asked about them and he said I didn’t need them…
All in all I’m completely happy with my progress. I still haven’t touched 1 drop of alcohol since I started, which is a miracle! Sometimes I forget and order a glass of wine, which my friends love as its free drinks for them! I’m hoping my lips don’t get too dry before my date!! Will keep you posted! xx
