Well here we on week 2 already, I cannot believe how quick the first week has gone.
I have to say in the first week I am actually very surprised at how many changes my body and skin seems to have gone through.
I have to say that to even look at my skin you would wonder why I am probably on the treatment in comparison to others which is why I am wondering if the side effects on this 30mg happened so soon maybe?
Well the burning of the skin happened on day 2. The only way that I can describe the feeling is that of sunstroke where you feel like your cooking from the inside out!
This then followed by the strange bobbly rash all over the backs of my hands and arms and around my neck.
My skin isn’t as oily and is currently drinking Simple rich moisturiser like you wouldn’t believe.
I have resulted in no make up at all not even mascara - which I may add the sore itchy eyes - not very pleasant at all. I think my face my not be as greasy as again not wearing the make up must be helping.
My skin generally all over my body is naturally very very sensitive which has resulted in me changing virtually all of my shower and bath products.
Currently bought all Sanex bath and shower gels. I had to get rid of my shower mits and have found a great sponge from boots which is much softer than normal ones.
My lips are much drier and are starting to crack a little so I am using Vaseline Intensive repair balm on those.
About day 5 the exhaustion and sore limbs set in, this lasted about a day where I spend the afternoon on the sofa not moving.
Generally everything that I knew would happen have so far.
Can anyone recommend anything to put onto the rash on the hands?
Also shaving my legs has become very painful as the rash is around the base of my legs so if anyone has any other ideas of being hair free I would love to know!
Well I hope everyone else is surviving! Keep it up, catch you all in a week,
Claire
