Just thought of another symptom I’ve been having recently…I’m not sure if this is a side effect of roaccutane or not. But ever since I’ve been on it I’ve found my stomach gurgles CONSTANTLY and my throat makes odd noises when I swallow. I’ve also been needing to visit the bathroom so much more often…I’m sure it’s nothing to worry about…but it’s pretty embarassing sitting in a silent maths test and all you can hear is the noises whatever is in your stomach is making trying to get out! Anyone else has these side effects? Or is it just me and my weirdo tummy

Hi, in my opinion you should stop taking roaccutane if it is effecting your stomach,. I took roaccutane for 4 days and i stopped as i was constapated and later on developed pain in my abdomen. I have developed Inflammatory Bowel Disease beacuse of this. I think most people that do develop IBD have been on roaccutane for quite a while maybe I was just unlucky. Anyway I am not trying to preach or tell you what you should do but you should take it from me that it is easier to live with Acne than IBD as it is very serious. Good Luck.

My stomach is also constantly gurgling – dead loud – lol, and this is only my 5th day!!
sorry to hear about your condition JBoy – it must be awful!! – but maybe its not such a good idea recommending that we all stop taking it, after all every case is different. however you have certainly made me aware that this is another symptom to be aware of, thanks

Hey guys, i didn’t mean to reccommend that you ‘all’ stop taking roaccutane. I think gurgles are pretty normal but I was just trying to warn against IBD so if you feel pain or have bad digestion (i.e. diarrhea) then you should stop and see the doctor like they advise you to do. I wish everyone luck with their treatment.
