lynda22: Week 21 – lots and lots of Factor 50!

Hope you are coping with the sunshine. Isn’t it awkward all this sun! I burn at the best of times (am Scottish!) I’m so glad my skin looks better, I can’t imagine plastering on thick make-up like I used to, trying to cover up. My skin’s not perfect but am happy to go out with just my factor 50 on my face. I using Nivea Factor 50 for face and hands and it seems to be doing to trick. Although, I have just cycled 20 miles so let’s see how pink I look by the end of the day. I was worried about using sun cream and getting all sweaty but would rather risk blocked pores than sunburn.
I can’t believe how well the steroid injection worked – big nasty stubborn spot has completely gone. I had it for 3 months, and it’s gone! I do have a red scar but it kind of looks like another freckle. One day I’ll post some pre and post injection shots – it literally disappeared over night.

Glad you’re doing really well and the horrid beastie has gone! Wow 20 mile bike ride, I can just about summon up the energy to get out of bed in the morning, well done you! :D

Thanks! I determined to keep exercising. My running has suffered because I’ve had problems with my hip but at least I can still do other things. Hope all is going well with you.
